Salman Khan has raised another contraversy by joking that he felt like a “raped woman” after a physically gruelling film shoot. In an interview for his upcoming film Sultan, he was describing the demands of his role as a wrestler and that’s when he drew this controversial comparison.
“While shooting, during those six hours, there’d be so much of lifting and thrusting on the ground involved,” said Khan, 50. “When I used to walk out of that ring I felt like a raped woman… I could not take steps.”
Its an audio recording of the interview, and that comment was greeted with laughter by journalists, after which the actor appeared to try to partially retract his choice of words, saying: “I don’t think I should have”
But Internet has took this seriously and Fire has been already lit up. Its all because of unreporting some continued lines of his interview. Here’s what he said, and what was reported:
What was reported and trending: When I used to walk out of the ring, after the shoot, I used to feel like a raped woman. I couldn’t walk straight.
What he actually said : When I used to walk out of that ring, it used to be actually like a raped woman walking out….I don’t think I should have (pauses). It feels like the most difficult….I couldn’t take steps. I couldn’t take steps.
