With that knock, he surpassed Suresh Raina and became the highest run-scorer in the IPL till date. Kohli has now 4002 runs in 136 games at an average of 37.75 with 4 centuries and 24 half-centuries to his name.
Gujarat Lions skipper Suresh Raina who has been leading the charts for a long time now is now sitting at the second position. The southpaw didn’t have a good run in this season and his form has witnessed a dip due to which he has been replaced by Kohli. Raina is just 17 runs short from equalling Kohli’s record.
